    I did participate in this event in my own little way. I turn off our lights in the house. It felt good:-)

    I totally participated….my kids hated me for an hour, but we did turn off not only all of our lights, but unplugged all of our electrical devices. Aside from having to reset all the alarm clocks in the house, it was really a great experience. I got a chance to explain to my kids what it was we were doing, and why we were doing it. By the time I got done explaining everything to them, the hour was just about over. Now they have a better understanding of the importance of conserving energy. It was a great experience overall.
