Dallas During Earth Hour 2009
I was going to spend a couple of hours today looking for the best Earth Hour 2009 pictures I could find and writing a blog about it, but after looking at Boston.com’s worldwide photo collage I gave up, figuring that our readers would be better served to just go check out their site.
Boston.com has a series of photographs from 17 different location showing the difference that Earth Hour made.

wow those pictures are brilliant! really brilliant. we should be having many more earth hours and not just for the brilliant images but in the interests of saving our delicate planet.

Think how much energy was saved from just one hour in Boston. Its great too see that so many people took part I was surprised that even the council in our local are were being pro active.

Wow – the pics were amazing. Just goes to show how much wastage there is of power. Why can’t cities shut off at night – even if they waited till midnight, that would still save so much energy!
