My cable company recently picked up the Discovery owned channel Planet Green TV, and I must say that it is a pretty cool station. The station is relatively young (it launched in June), but it still is able to offer a nice variety of programming. My favorite shows currently are the Emeril Lagasse cooking show Emeril Green, and the Bill Nye science show Stuff Happens
The Emeril show is great because it’s actually shot on location at Whole Foods. Therefore you know he is going to be using ingredients that can easily be found (if you have access to a Whole Foods). I like the Bill Nye show simply because it’s Bill Nye, and he’s always great.
So if you have access to Planet Green I highly recommend checking it out. Even if you don’t think you have it take a look. I have no idea how long I had it before I actually noticed it.
